As Director of the Vail Centre for Entrepreneurship, Dustin is leading the strategy and development of centre programs.

Dustin is a consummate entrepreneur balancing on a continuum between academia and practicum. He hold a doctorate in organizational leadership with a focus on entrepreneurial leadership from Regent University, an MBA from Regis University, and a bachelor’s degree in marketing and economics from Colorado State University.

Dustin is the founder of Seven, an entrepreneur incubator that helps new and existing leaders establish, launch, and advance new ideas and initiatives. A strategic think tank, he brings together business and creative professionals to build economic stamina and ethical leadership practices. Dustin was also previously the CEO of Scapa LLC, operating food service franchise units in conjunction with Global Franchise Group.

As the former vice president of the Vail Leadership Institute, Dustin oversaw the Exploring Potential high school character development program, maintained the Leaders Network, was the liaison for the White River Council of Mentors and Advisers, initiated and facilitated the expansion of key Institute programs, and oversaw managers on other Institute endorsed initiatives. Dustin served many roles at the Institute starting as a Program Manager and later advancing to the Director of Development. In addition to his role as Vice President, Dustin served as an Adjunct Faculty Member facilitating Inside First curriculum to regional business leaders.

Dustin moved his family to Vail, Colorado in 2003 after previously serving as an executive in the advertising and communication sectors. Drawn to the outdoor lifestyle, Dustin spends his free time mountaineering and mountain biking.
